Sales Assistant
The primary role of Sale Assistant is helping customers with firearms, ammunition and accessories and assisting our Sales Representatives at our retail store located in Easton, PA
Requirements:
• General knowledge of firearms and firearms safety
• No previous retail sales experience required
• Valid PA driver’s license
• Can pass a background check
• High school graduate or GED required.
• Friendly and engaging
• Neat appearance
Sales Representative
The primary role of Sale Representative is sales of firearms, ammunition and accessories at our retail store located in Easton, PA
Education, Licenses, Certifications and Experience:
• Preferred 3 years prior experience working in a gun store
• Firearms knowledge, including shooting, hunting, gun collecting
• Previous retail sales experience
• Strong computer skills
• Detail oriented and familiar with Federal and State forms
• A clean driving record, valid PA driver’s license
• Valid PA license to carry firearms
• High school graduate or GED required.
• One year of clerical or administrative support experience preferred.
• Prior experience working in firearms industry is a plus
• Prior experience working at gun shows is a plus
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to multitask and to deal with customers in busy work environment
• Ability to read, count and write to accurately complete all transactions and documentation.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work varied hours and days as business dictates, which may include weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
• Neat appearance
• Works in an environment with occasional high stress.
• Stands, walks, and sits throughout the work day.
• Routinely bends, stoops, pushes, pulls, reaches forward and upward, kneels, twists, turns throughout the day.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
eCommerce Auction Listing Associate – Firearms and Accessories
The primary role of an eCommerce auction listing associate is listing firearms and accessories for sale on gunbroker.com and ebay.com, as well as posting products for sale on our website
Primary Duties:
• Perform duties and interact with all 507 Outfitters employees, clients, and customers in a professional manner.
• Write merchandise descriptions with creativity and honesty that adhere to accepted standards and practices.
• Take quality photographs of merchandise to be posted.
• Accurately weigh and estimate correct shipping method for listed items.
• Accurately label and store listed items.
• Answer customer questions in a timely manner.
• Maintain a high degree of professionalism in written and verbal communications with customers, and business associates.
• Maintain a neat and safe work area.
Education, Licenses, Certifications and Experience:
• Strong computer skills
• A clean driving record, valid PA driver’s license
• Valid PA license to carry firearms
• High school graduate or GED required.
• One year of clerical or administrative support experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of graphics and e-commerce software beneficial.
• Previous experience listing items for sale online, such as ebay, gunbroker, etc.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Basic firearms knowledge (manufacturers, terminology, calibers, etc.)
• Intermediate computer skills with a good working knowledge of html, Photoshop, Mac environment, the Internet and Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Fast learner
• Working knowledge of digital photography.
• Ability to read, count and write to accurately complete all transactions and documentation.
• Intermediate computer skills with a good working knowledge of html, Photoshop, Mac environment, the Internet and Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Self directed with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Prior experience working in firearms industry is a plus
